With a wide range of projects run largely from the camp, volunteer programmes can be tailored to individual interests. The camp is a beautiful setting to learn about and experience Uganda. Lending a hand on projects for a couple of weeks in this setting gives visitors a more in-depth experience of the country while making a difference.

Volunteer programmes focus at the camp itself where there are always more areas to develop. Get involved in existing projects or establish your own. From our fledgling organic garden and apiary, to building hides and benches, making pathways or sign painting, there’s always a new development waiting for helping hands.

Beyond the camp, a few projects range from community based work in primary schools to wildlife based work in the lake system or the national park. We work with Lake Mburo Communities, providing volunteers where they fit in with their programmes.

We work with Volunteer 4 Africa to link to the wider volunteer network. See more fab opportunities on their website here http://www.volunteer4africa.org.
